You will be given a random password when you first register. Check your email for a login link so you can change your password. To receive Gil's LotD as a daily email: When you log in for the first time, go to the "My Notification Settings" tab and set Notify Status to "enabled" and Notify New Content to "enabled." This was done for you if you moved from the old LotD mailing list.
